Just a quick one this week... Andy sent these before and after pics from his chassis treatment project.
The paint was just staring to flake in the regular places. It was first scraped back, then rust treatment (hammerite stuff) applied in the areas which get a pounding then yacht epoxy resin used (from West Systems). I use this because its as hard as nails, once this goes on you will never see the rust again and then stones bounce off.
I then painted it with smoothwrite and finally a coat of waxoyl.
